Who is the bad editor?

Peter Jones, Motojournalist

I write stuff about motorcycles and the motorcycling lifestyle. I meant to die young but failed, so now I am stuck here still riding and still writing about motorcycles. That's a good thing. Because I often ride too fast a violent death remains a possibility. In 2017, a pickup truck pulled into my lane, planning on making a left turn across my path. We collided head-on. I got a new motorcycle because of that, and a full appreciation of ABS.

I have been a motojournalist for over twenty years, working full time at SportRider Magazine, 2wf.com, American Road & Racing, and I was the founding editor of the urban performance magazine Motorcycle Street & Strip. As a freelancer I have written for Cycle World, Baggers, Cycle News, Motorcyclist, Rider, Road Rider, Road Runner, Motorcycle Cruiser, Motorcycle Consumer News, and numerous online motorcycle media outlets.

As a motorcycle journalist I have crashed bikes on race tracks, set a landspeed record at over 200 mph, dropped a $100,000 motorcycle while doing a U-turn, broken bones, injured other riders, traveled to the far side of oceans, and broken bread with racers who are far, far more talented than myself on motorcycles. But I write better than they do.

This site is for promoting my book "The Bad Editor", for future projects, and for exploring new opportunities of bad behavior. All said, it's just for fun.
